We ended the year strong in ’19 painting a massive NIKE mural that covered all three sides of the iconic Triangle Sports building at 183 Flatbush Ave in downtown Brooklyn. Located directly across from the Barclays Center and Atlantic Terminal, the NIKE mural promotes Kyrie Irving’s new NIKE sneaker release. While he was playing for the NETS next door at the Barclay’s Center, we were outside painting a massive full body portrait and graphic elements informed by the innovative sneaker designs on all three sides of the building. We battled freezing temperatures, rain, and a surprise snow squall during the production of the artwork. We love how it came out and we’re pretty sure it can be seen from outer space:) Thanks to Street Factory Media for the opportunity to use our mural painting expertise. Heres how the NIKE mural went down.
